The Music Production Level 3 advanced certificate course explores the full creative and technical synergy between production, recording, mixing, and mastering. Students build their own songs from the ground up while learning how each musical or technical decision shapes the final energy and sound. The focus is on smart, intentional decisions that make music hit emotionally and sonically. All sessions take place in a professional studio setting.
Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the course students will be able to understand:
• Arranging for Sound (choosing parts and registers that sound great together),
• Minimalism (creating a big sound with only a few elements),
• Perfection vs. Imperfection (using both for maximum impact),
• Guitar Recording (electric, acoustic, and bass)
• Mix Prep and Setup (organizing, building a winning template)
• Balance (leveling and automation)
• EQ (why, when and how to use it)
• Compression and Sidechaining (when it helps and when it hurts)
• Effects (creating imaginary space with reverb, delay, and modulation)
• Stereo Image (where to place things and why)
• Best Practices (mixing vocals, instruments, drums, bass)
• Mastering (preparing mixes for releasing)

Additional Experience
• Weekly Feedback on student projects
• Record and mix on an analog console with pro outboard gear
• Study real sessions from charting songs
• Building a custom production and mixing template


Prerequisites
• Completed Music Production Level 1 and 2 Courses (or equivalent experience)
• Able to use your DAW of choice (Logic, Ableton, Cubase, etc.)
• At least one original song or track idea ready to develop
• Laptop and headphones required in every session
