Max Blomgren is a film composer and music producer based in Boston and Los Angeles. Since graduating from the USC Thornton Screen Scoring program in 2002 he has worked as a composer, synthesist, recording engineer and mixer on numerous Hollywood blockbusters, including Spider-man 3, Ghost Rider, Pet Sematary and The Monkey King.
In addition to film and television, he is a prolific music album producer, and worked as synthesist and sound designer on the award winning video games Wilson’s Heart and The Saboteur. Recent projects include composing the score for upcoming thriller Pursued, as well as sound design and mixing for the Netflix show Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities.
Since 2002 he is a Professor of Screen Scoring at Berklee College of music in Boston.
